Becoming a Parent is Hard. You Don’t Have to do it Alone.
FROM TRYING TO CONCEIVE TO PARENTING YOUNG KIDS, WE’RE HERE FOR YOU.
Compassionate, virtual therapy across Ontario for parents and parents-to-be.
Feeling overwhelmed, anxious, or stuck?
Struggling to bond with your baby?
Feeling anxious during pregnancy or postpartum?
Grieving a loss or the future you envisioned?
Exhausted from trying to hold it all together?
THE PARENTHOOD JOURNEY ISN’T ALWAYS WHAT YOU EXPECT
Parenting is messy, emotional, and unpredictable. Maybe you're trying to conceive and feel like your body is failing you. Maybe you just had a baby, and instead of feeling joy, you feel overwhelmed. Maybe your toddler just threw a tantrum in the grocery store, and now you’re hiding in the car Googling ‘how to be a better parent.’
Whatever stage you’re in, we see you. You don’t have to figure this out alone.
At Toronto Therapy Practice, we help parents navigate the ups and downs of fertility, pregnancy, postpartum, and early parenthood. Whether you’re struggling with anxiety, grief, relationship stress, or just feeling lost in this new identity, we’re here to support you with expert, compassionate therapy designed for parents like you.

Are You Struggling With:
LET’S WORK TOGETHER
-
Parenthood can make you feel like roommates instead of partners. Maybe you argue more, feel distant, or intimacy feels like a thing of the past. Fertility struggles, pregnancy loss, and the exhaustion of raising little ones can test even the strongest relationships. You love each other, but right now, you feel miles apart.
-
You love your baby, but sometimes you miss freedom, spontaneity, and sleep. The quiet mornings. The spontaneous date nights. The sense of control.
-
Parenting is exhausting. You’re tired, you’re touched out, and some days, you’re running on caffeine and a prayer. Postpartum depression (PPD) and anxiety (PPA) can make even small tasks feel impossible. You might feel numb, irritable, panicked, or just not like the parent you thought you'd be.
-
Maybe you’re facing fertility struggles, pregnancy loss, or an unexpected journey to building your family. It’s painful, isolating, and not what you envisioned.
-
Toddler tantrums, bedtime battles, and the mental load of parenting—it’s a lot. You love your child, but some days, you’re running on fumes.
HOW WE SUPPORT YOU:
THERAPY FOR FERTILITY & LOSS
If you’re struggling to conceive, grieving a loss, or navigating fertility treatments, we provide support to help you process emotions and regain a sense of hope.
Led by therapists who’ve walked with hundreds of clients through IVF, miscarriage, and loss—we bring expertise and deep empathy to every session.
THERAPY DURING PREGNANCY
Pregnancy brings emotional highs and lows. Our therapists help you navigate feelings of excitement, fear, and uncertainty, supporting you as you prepare for this new chapter.
Our team understands the emotional rollercoaster of pregnancy—several of our clinicians have supported clients through prenatal anxiety, identity shifts, and birth planning, both in hospitals and private practice.
POSTPARTUM SUPPORT
The postpartum period is beautiful but overwhelming. We’re here to help you manage the emotional ups and downs, reconnect with yourself and your partner, and find your footing in the chaos.
Many of our therapists have worked in hospital-based perinatal mental health programs, supporting new parents through the hardest weeks postpartum with compassion and real-life strategies that work.
COUPLES & PARENTING SUPPORT
Parenthood changes everything, especially relationships. We help couples reconnect, communicate better, and strengthen their bond through this life stage.
We bring decades of experience helping parents navigate tantrums, mental load, and changing dynamics—whether it’s your partner, toddler, or identity that’s feeling off balance.
WHY PARENTS TRUST US:
At Toronto Therapy Practice, we combine deep clinical expertise with a heartfelt understanding of what it means to become a parent—emotionally, relationally, and psychologically. Our therapists truly get it.
Our practice was founded by a senior clinician with over a decade of experience at Mount Sinai Hospital in Women and Infants Health. That experience taught us how layered this journey can be—how grief, joy, fear, and identity shifts often show up all at once.
Our therapists bring 10 to 30 years of experience to every session. Each has education and experience in perinatal mental health and the specific issues facing new and expecting parents. This means you won't have to explain the basics—we already understand what you're going through.
From the first thoughts of growing your family to the messy, beautiful reality of raising kids, we help you feel more like yourself again—and more supported along the way.
