Caroline Nikiel, MSW RSW

With over 9 years of counselling experience, Caroline has developed a compassionate and non-judgmental approach to supporting individuals from diverse backgrounds. Caroline is experienced in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and integrates these evidence-based approaches into her practice. She works collaboratively with each client to create a personalized treatment plan that addresses their unique needs and goals.

Through a safe and supportive environment, Caroline guides clients in exploring their thoughts, emotions, and experiences, and developing essential skills to navigate life's challenges. She specializes in working with young adults facing challenges such as anxiety, depression, self-esteem, emotion regulation, and interpersonal relationships. Caroline has particular expertise in supporting women and their partners through the perinatal period, addressing concerns such as infertility, pregnancy and infant loss, prenatal mood changes, postpartum depression, and anxiety.

Caroline is dedicated to fostering a deep understanding of each client's experiences and perspectives. She recognizes the importance of building trust and rapport, and strives to create a warm and inclusive space for all individuals.
